Last updated June 2026
The Learning Network ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to thelearnnet.com and our memberships, courses, events and email communications.
Who we are
The Learning Network is an education business founded by Kelly Bell, providing resources and professional learning for teachers of Primary PE, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), Community and Family Studies (CAFS) and Health and Movement Science (HMS). We are based in New South Wales, Australia and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
We only collect information we need to provide our resources and support. This may include:
- Contact details — your name, email address and, where relevant, your school, role and the subjects you teach.
- Account and purchase information — your membership or course enrolments, order history and communication preferences.
- Payment information — processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
- Messages you send us — enquiries, feedback and survey responses.
- Usage information — how you interact with our website and content, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you join a membership, enrol in a course, sign up to our email list, complete a form, or contact us. We also collect some information automatically through cookies and analytics when you use our website.
How we use your information
- To deliver the memberships, courses, resources and events you have requested.
- To process payments and manage your account.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
- To send you updates, resources and offers you have opted in to receive. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve our website, content and services.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as far as needed to provide their service. These include:
- Kajabi — our website, membership and email platform.
- Payment processors — to handle purchases securely.
- Analytics and email tools — to understand usage and send communications.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you disable them.
How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including using reputable platforms with appropriate security measures. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have an account or membership with us, and as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store data on servers located outside Australia. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy and Australian privacy law.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete it where we are able. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You can also unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for teachers and education professionals, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
