Questions

Everything you're wondering, answered

I teach in another state, not New South Wales: will this work for me?
Yes. Fundamental movement skills are national. Every Australian curriculum is built on them, so the resources work in every state. They are also aligned to the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) syllabus where that matters.
I'm a generalist classroom teacher, not a PE specialist. Can I still use this?
Absolutely. If you can teach kids to read and write, you can teach fundamental movement skills. Everything is scripted and done for you, so you can pick it up and teach it with confidence, even if PE is not your background.
Do I need my school to approve a budget?
No. Everything here is built for you, the individual teacher. You can buy the Starter Kit yourself without asking anyone or waiting on a purchase order.
What exactly are fundamental movement skills (FMS)?
They are the building-block movements every child needs โ€” running, jumping, hopping, balancing, throwing, catching and more. Get these right in primary school and everything else in sport and movement becomes possible.
How quickly can I actually use it?
Tomorrow. The Starter Kit gives you five progressive lesson plans you can teach this week, with no extra prep.
